Sigma Mu Beta

Welcome to Sigma Mu Beta, a Tri-Ess Chapter located in Myrtle Beach, SC. We are here to support heterosexual crossdressers, their spouses/partners, and their families and friends – whether a local resident, or visitor to the area. Both are welcomed. Learning, sharing, and fellowship are our goals.

Security is of utmost importance to us, including any information you provide about yourself. The organization does not require its members to reveal their true identity.

Monthly meetings are held at a facility on the third Sunday of each month from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Myrtle Beach area. The meeting place is clean and neat, with private access and a semi-private parking area.

Here is a note written by one of our members when about to meet with Tri-Ess members for the first time. Does any of it sound like it could be you?

“I’m excited about going to my first Tri-Ess meeting this Saturday. I look forward to meeting others who share the same desire that I have to dress. I hope to learn from and feel supported by attendees.”

“In some ways, I am apprehensive about going. I would like to arrive dressed, but I am concerned about traveling dressed. Also, shaving and putting on make-up well in advance could cause a problem.”

“I’m not out to anyone except my wife and am not willing to provide my true identity as a crossdresser to others yet. Maybe I’ll never get to that point. I’m taking only baby steps for now. Attending this meeting is a trial for me. Only recently have I fully acknowledged to myself that I am a crossdresser, even though I have been crossdressing since I was a boy. I’m pleased that the chapter secretary said that I can go only as far as I am comfortable in sharing information about myself.”
